Despite his track record of writing songs for the varied likes of Michael Jackson, Mya and Bonnie Raitt, there are people who are reluctant to call Teron Beal a songwriter. “Teron’s a hit-writer,” says one record executive. “He’s the guy producers and artists call when they want a sure hit.” Beal is regularly pursued by record labels like Universal, Sony, Def Jam and J Records for his abilities. Beal has earned this reputation the old-fashioned way: hard work. He’s been penning songs non-stop since he was nineteen and metamorphosed through his “up-and-comer” phase by the time he graduated from college. These days, the Tyler, TX native is continuing his hit-writing streak by working on projects by Mary J. Blige, Usher and Jamie Cullum. He’s also pursuing acting, taking a role side-by-side with Terrence Howard in a recently green-lit Steve Shor produced Columbia Pictures film.

I can tell from the pictures on his myspace the Romeo has a lil playboy in him, but his smile and athletic body just makes me think “all-american” guy. His profile notes “carribbeanprince” and he’s a dancer or performer of some sort, because his blog talks about women coming out to his shows, etc. Oh the islands know how to make um, yall. He looks like the star football player or track star all grown up. The shoulders…it’s all about the shoulders with his man. Very very nice, strong…looks like he could just carry you away from danger. I would love to see him in a fireman’s uniform…ok let me stop. LOL

Fresh from myspace, I give you Trav in all his chocolate glory. There’s nothing like a fine and fit dark skinned man. Oh, he’s smart too…a Network Administrator. I always go for pecs over six pak (you know I love both), so I love this picture. From his myspace profile I can tell that this man enjoys humor, however his taste may be a bit “juvenile” for some of you ladies. But when you see his smile, you may be able to overlook that.
